Scott K.D. Shishido

Scott concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, construction, personal injury, insurance defense, coverage and bad faith, professional malpractice and commercial litigation.

Scott has always been a team player. While pursuing his law degree at the University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law, Scott served as the managing editor of the University of Hawai‘i Law Review and competed as a member of the Native American Moot Court Team.

An advocate for minorities, Scott served as Project Director and Communications Manager for the Native American Health Center in Oakland, California and Research Assistant for the Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law.


Active in the legal community, Scott is a member of the Delivery of Legal Services to the Public Committee of the Hawai‘i State Bar Association, the James S. Burns Chapter of the American Inn of the Courts, and the Hawai‘i Estate Planning Council.

Scott is equally at ease outside of the courtroom. You might see him catching a wave or enjoying a sunset jog.
