Brett R. Tobin

The size of Hawaii’s legal market allows for, and demands, a varied practice which keeps things interesting.

Brett is a partner in the firm’s business litigation practice group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and business litigation and intellectual property litigation.

Brett is focused on helping clients navigate their way through complex problems and disputes. Through his experience, Brett has represented individuals and Fortune 500 companies in both state and federal court as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and various other administrative bodies. His earlier career included sports writing and teaching English at Beijing Normal University in China.


If you’re looking for Brett on the weekend, you’ll catch him participating in the YMCA Adventure Guides program with his two daughters or volunteering as a soccer referee for the American Youth Soccer Organization.
